Twin Lake North is Mastering the Skills of Social Distancing These Days and Having Fun Doing It!
Who said you can’t have any fun when our party space is closed?! Here at Twin Lake North, we have been mastering the skill of socially distant events like the ones in these pictures. Many residents came by on National Nurses Day to write thank you cards for our local nurses. On TLN Flowers, Food, and Fun Day we had a convenient-store-like spread for residents to shop from including seed starter kits for residents to grow their own flowers and herbs.
Our biggest event of the month and biggest prize pack yet was the 1st Annual TLN Medallion Hunt. We had a beautiful week of weather which encouraged many residents to get out of their homes to search for the medallion. Winner, Qwendell (pictured) searched high and low for all hours of the day until he succeeded on Day four of clues. With our offices being closed, we have missed seeing our resident’s faces and this event allowed us to see many familiar and even some new faces out around the community. We are learning lots throughout this process.
June is full of events and activities that our residents can engage in and benefit from in many ways. Visit us Monday June 1st to kick-off Lang Nelson Resident Visit Month where you can grab a doughnut and sign-up for a time to visit with us!
