"Green Book" is coming to River Oaks of Anoka!
We are thrilled to have Robin White, from Green Book – A Read and Recycle Initiative, visit our community on Tuesday, May 17th for a FREE book fair! Robin founded the non-profit reading program in the year 2009 as a way of keeping books in the reader’s hands, as opposed to having them sit on bookshelves collecting dust. Robin’s goal is simply to share as many books with people as possible. And since the start of her organization she has done just that by recycling over 75,000 books! Over the past seven years since Green Book began, its interest level within the community has exploded! Robin now visits 39 different sites across the Twin Cities bringing joy to many in the form of literature.
Please come to donate your gently used books and/or pick up a new title to add to your reading collection! Green Book carries and accepts all types of genres: comedy, drama, non-fiction, fiction, romance, children’s book, and more!
