Celebrate National Assisted Living Week with River Oaks and The Legacy!

Sunday, September 9th, kicked off this year’s National Assisted Living Week. This week encourages assisted living communities around the country to offer a variety of events and activities to celebrate the individuals they serve in addition to helping educate members of the public about this distinctive aspect of long term care. This year’s theme is “Capture the Moment”. Care Providers of Minnesota want to help overcome the stigma that older adults in assisted living communities- and other settings for that matter- don’t have a purpose in life anymore. No matter the age, we should all be living life to its fullest. Assisted living caregivers help seniors realize this by supporting them with everyday tasks, while maximizing their independence and honoring their individuality. With this goal in mind, Care Providers of Minnesota would like everyone to share their events and celebrations on their Facebook page or by email to Kaila (kmay@careproviders.org) at the Association..

River Oaks of Anoka and The Legacy of St. Anthony are known for offering catered living experiences that are centered around our residents and the important people in their lives. They are premier communities for seniors who want to live in lively communities and enjoy the peace of mind that professional support offers. River Oaks and The Legacy follow the Lang Nelson Continuum of Care program which is designed to enhance our residents lives by providing continuity in care from people that them and care about their future. They are filled with hardworking, caring staff that go above and beyond our residents’ expectations in every interaction.

We would like to thank River Oaks and The Legacy for all that they do, each and every day!

Thank you River Oaks of Anoka! Thank you The Legacy of St. Anthony!
