National Assisted Living Week: A Spark of Creativity!

What a great week The Legacy had for National Assisted Living Week--we have a great group of creative residents! We started off the week with Stephanie doing a creative writing group with the residents--the short story about fall they put together as a group will be featured in our next newsletter. Getting creative with food was also a fun opportunity we had from making our own fruit kabobs with Ida Marie to cookie decorating with Suzy. Not only did our residents enjoy being creative but our staff did as well. Everyone spent the week adding fingerprints to our Spark of Creativity Tree! Sophie taught everyone origami and everyone got to take away an origami pumpkin they had created. We ended the week painting canvases with Alyssa Ronchak. ​Thanks to everyone for helping to Spark our Creativity!
