August has arrived and at Ida Marie we’re looking forward to using the fresh herbs and vegetables we planted back in May. There’s something about clipping them right out of our garden to bring out remarkable flavors in our dishes that is so fulfilling. Our residents have watched the progress from the beginning and have helped us clip the herbs we need for each meal.  We continue to use our patio and BBQ when the weather allows us to be outside without dangerous temperatures.
