Lent Doesn’t Mean Just Fish on Fridays at Ida Marie

The Legacy chefs have always embraced the season and faith culture of the Lenten season, and from a food service vision its more than just fried fish on Fridays. Here in Ida Marie, we structure our menus with a flair of wonderful non-meat proteins to better serve our residents. We color outside the box. In today’s food industry many popular food groups are now the trend of non-meat eaters and those seeking a flavorful option to add to their pallets.

Pastas, greens, eggs, cheeses, nuts, grains and more are the new replacements for the standard Friday Menus for those seeking to follow their faith-based protocol without dropping it into a Fryer at 325 for 6 minutes.

How about an eye-popping salad with fresh greens, eggs and cheeses along with a warm Hawaiian roll and fruit garnish?
