Creekside Gable's 1st Annual chili cook off
Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year. The leaves have started to change and are falling to the ground in a wonderful display of color. We start thinking about making all our warm comfort foods. It seems the first food that pops into all our heads is CHILI! So, what better time to have our 1st annual chili cook off!
Yesterday, Creekside had its 1st annual Chili cook off. We had three contestants and 10 judges who brought all the chili fixings like cheese, sour cream, crackers and even apple crisp for dessert. It was amazing how different the 3 chilies were from what was in them to tasted. One was sweet and had big pieces of tomato, one was spicy but not too spice and was hearty, but the award-winning chili was just right, it was smooth and went to contestant #1 Cynthia Boyer. Thank you to all our contestants and to our judges.
