Broadway Village Residents are Generous
Broadway Village has a really wonderful and kind group of residents who truly care about their neighbors and the community around us. We have just wrapped up our 3rd year of collecting hats and mittens for Hats and Mittens, a local totally volunteer organization which works with agencies all over the area to provide hats and mittens to those who need them. This year we collected 50 hats, scarves and mittens! They work year round and if you want a project before next year, come to the office and get some yarn to make some. We can provide you with yarn, needles, and a pattern if you don’t have them.
Also just wrapping up is our holiday collection campaign for NEAR Food Shelf. We set a goal of 1000 pounds and despite how hard COVID has made things, we met our goal! Congratulations Broadway Village!!!
