Celebrating Community at Our Fall Festival at the Legacy of St. Anthony
Last month in October, we hosted our Fall Festival, and what a vibrant celebration it was! The air was filled with laughter, the scent of delicious food, and the warmth of community spirit. We were thrilled to partner with Fox Therapy https://foxrehab.org/advantages-outpatient-home-treatment/ and included guest from Autumn Woods, Senior Care Authority https://www.seniorcareauthority.com and a senior care representative from REMAX https://kristinemec.results.net/home/ for an unforgettable day.
A Taste of Germany~ One of the highlights of our festival was the delightful German food sampler served by our wonderful guests from Fox Therapy. The sampler included a variety of traditional dishes that delighted our attendees’ taste buds, from savory sausages to hearty potato salad. And let’s not forget the star dessert: the mouthwatering German Chocolate Cake. Its rich layers and velvety frosting were the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal. Many attendees left with full bellies and big smiles, already looking forward to next year’s treats!
Community Connections ~ We were also excited to have representatives from Senior Care Authority and Kristi from REMAX join us. Their commitment to fostering a sense of community aligns perfectly with the spirit of our festival. Throughout the day, they engaged with festival-goers, sharing information about their initiatives and encouraging everyone to get involved in local projects. The collaboration between these two organizations really highlighted the importance of working together to create a vibrant community. It was inspiring to see so many people connecting, sharing stories, and making new friends.
A Day to Remember ~The Fall Festival was not just about food; it was about bringing people together, celebrating our community, and embracing the changing season. The beautiful autumn backdrop added to the festivities, making it a day to remember.
