Meridian
Manor offers an alternative to the more traditional long-term
care environment within the community. The Caresuite,
or Lake Cottage, is home to twelve residents, all of whom
require 24-hour supportive services and who choose to
no longer live in their private apartment home. The concept
of the Lake Cottage is to provide a residential environment
where residents receive individualized attention and service
delivered by the onsite home care staff dedicated to the
needs of the cottage. Residents share the cottage home
setting such as a living room, parlor, library, kitchen,
and dining room. This environment promotes socialization
and enhances quality of life while maintaining their dignity.
