Do you have a Health Care Directive?
Lilia H. from Honoring Choices Minnesota came in and discussed what a Health Care Directive is and how important it is to have one to ensure your personal decisions on health care needs in the future, protecting your wants and needs in the event that you are unable to make a decision. Lilia also spoke to residents on how to start what can be a difficult conversation to have with family members and loved ones.
Lilia also helped review and complete the Health Care Directives Form for those at the meeting. We will be welcoming Lilia back on March 22nd at 10AM to finish part II of this discussion.
