The Arbors of White Bear Lake has had an Exciting few Weeks!
We had a very busy Halloween. We started off hosting 103 preschoolers for our trick-or-treating event. The kids had a great time, and our residents enjoyed having them even more! It was so fun to see so many cute little costumes. Later that day, we had our annual Witches Brew. We had 7 different kinds of soup, and a plethora of crackers, breads, and desserts. Following the meal, we held our costume contest. What fun we had! Our prizes were awarded to “Papa Bear”, the Buzzing Bee, and our Clown!
We started November off with our Joyful Gypsy Holiday Boutique. They brought in such beautiful gifts and clothing, that many of us got a nice head start on our holiday shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed having them back.
Our Veterans Day Dinner was incredible. We celebrated the 100th Anniversary to Armistice Day by singing all of the military songs, a heartfelt and thoughtful presentation by one of our Korean War Veterans, and a catered Roast Beef dinner from Key’s Cafe.
