Summit Oaks: Food For Thought

It seems as if we celebrate just about anything and everything with food. It could be a pizza party, a holiday, birthdays, friendship or just spending quality time with our Summit Oaks Family.

The Summit Oaks Dinner Diners went to Rockwood’s Bar and Grill. We were all seated in the dining room at one table. Seems the conversation never stopped flowing, as well as a glass of wine or two. Not to worry, as we all rode on the Lang Nelson bus so our safety and well being were in wonderful hands.  The food was fantastic. The fun and companionship made this a very special evening for all that attended.

Our “Out for Lunch Bunch” went to Carol’s Family Restaurant in Blaine to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Everyone that attended received a Valentine’s Day Heart with, of course, chocolates. Mike, our bus driver, is so kind. Always there with a smile and a Helping hand. Thank you Mike!

Thomasville is showcasing local artist Lori Rose. Her paintings can be seen in one of our new models. The Thomasville community invites you to take a tour of our new model and see Lori Rose’s paintings first hand.

Lori Rose has dabbled in the arts the majority of her life, but hadn’t really found her true passion as an acrylic artist until early 2005. She paints as often as she can to master her abilities, making beautiful landscapes and abstracts for her family and lovely child art for her new grand-daughter. We at Thomasville are proud to showcase Lori Rose’s art, please come take a look for yourself!

We have some delicious community gatherings each month! Join us every Friday morning 7:30 to 9:00 for Rick’s famous pancake, sausage and orange juice breakfast. Bring your family, friends and neighbors. Everyone is welcome. Ask about our events and tour our new models.
