The Pool is Opening Soon!

Summit Oaks Apartments is hosting its Annual Pool Party on Saturday, June 1^st from 11am to 3 pm. The pool officially opens Memorial Weekend.

Bring your friends and family to come out and enjoy a fun afternoon. We will have the Grills going serving hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, coleslaw, chips and drinks.
The annual pool party is a favorite of many of the residents. It’s a great time to meet your neighbors and to relax and make new friends. There will be games in the court yard for the kids.

With summer and swimming season fast approaching, Twin Lake North apartments

and the American Red Cross are teaming up to offer water safety lessons

in our indoor pool.

If you are interested in learning how to be safe, in or near the water, or would like

to brush up on your swimming skills, we are offering many different levels of lessons.

Lessons will be starting the week of June 10^th and continuing through August.

The lessons will be taught by certified instructors through the American Red Cross.

The Price is Always Right at Summit Oaks

Back by popular demand “The Price is Right “ following our “Chat & Chowder lunches.

The attendance was good for our first of many BBQ Picnics At Summit Oaks. The Picnic theme made the Price is Right all the more fun with BBQ items  on display to guess what they cost. What a great afternoon we had even with the snow falling outside. Our next Chat & Chowder will be Chef Scott’s famous Sloppy Joes! Imagine the fun we will have with that theme. Recently Thomasville has started collecting soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. The Ronald McDonald Charities offer a comforting home away from home and a community of support for seriously ill children and their families. A special thank you goes out to our resident, Matthew Morse. Matthew has been donating blood since 2004; he has asked the Thomasville community for help in his quest to help Ronald McDonald Charities. The Thomasville staff created a container for donations and added Matthew’s request into our monthly newsletter. The positive response has been unimaginable! Many residents have dropped off their saved pop tabs.  A very special thanks to residents Frank T. and Richard B. both dropped off tabs in gallon size freezer bags!  THANK YOU!

Thursdays in the clubhouse from 3:30 -4:30 is Study Hour.  Jr. High and High School honor students mentor under classmates with their studies.  All ages welcome.

Fridays 7:30am-9:00am in the clubhouse, Breakfast is served.  Come and enjoy Rick’s famous pancakes, sausages, French toast, O.J. and coffee.

Saturday April 13^th from 10:30am-12:00pm is Spring cookie making with Amber! Bring your own cookie sheet! Sign up in the clubhouse today!

Sunday April 28^th from 10:00am-11:30am is our Resident Appreciation Brunch in the clubhouse! All Delicious, some nutritious and a dab of seriously high calorie breakfast foods!

Tuesday April 30^th at 6:30pm is Pizza night! Two of White Bear Lake’s finest will be enjoying pizza night with us to discuss starting our own neighborhood watch program.

Twin Lake North Art Show Benefit

Resident/Artist, Gregory Garrison, held a silent auction in Twin Lake North’s clubhouse.

All proceeds went to The Kidney Foundation.  All 25 pictures were auctioned off,

We’re Welcoming Spring!

We’re trying our hardest to bid farewell to winter at Creekside Gables!  There are promises of Spring – icicles melting, peeks of grass and warmer sunshine – but inside our community, it’s getting hot!
