Russ Nave Celebrated His
100th Birthday
Wednesday, June 20th 2012
First Russ was crowned King for the Day. Residents, family, friends and staff helped Russ celebrate with a luncheon in his honor with his favorite foods Walleye, steak and apple pie. After a delicious lunch we were entertained by Marily Sellars singing Russ’s favorite tunes. Mayor Elizabeth Kautz stopped in and read and presented Russ with a Proclamation for his special day. Birthday cake and more apple pie was then served and Russ then retired to his apartment to continue to celebrate with his family. A great day was had by all especially Russ.
In addition to special celebrations such as Russ’s 100th Birthday we also take every chance we can to celebrate, host entertainers and speakers. We would like to invite you, your friends and family to join us any time.
