Park Blvd. Partners with S.T.E.P.

We are proud to announce that Lang Nelson is an official drop site for STEP!  If you are interested in donating, please bring your donations to 4601 Excelsior Blvd. Suite 650 now through January 30th, 2012!  STEP appreciates all donations of non-perishable food items, personal care items, and gently-used clothing.

STEP’S MOST NEEDED ITEMS ARE

Cereal                         Canned Fruit               Rice

PB & Jelly                    Coffee, Hot Tea           Boxed Meal Options

Canned Meat              Oil, Flour, Sugar          Toothpaste

Toilet Paper                Toothbrushes              Towels, Sheets, Blankets

Kids & Teen Clothing  Paper Grocery Bags (w/ handles preferred)

STEP works to strengthen our community by responding to the basic emergency needs of individuals and families in St. Louis Park.  STEP is the local food shelf and also provides services in areas such as transportation, housing, clothing, information and referrals, and supportive counseling.

• Each day, STEP’s Food Shelf serves 35 to 40 St. Louis Park families and distributes over 3,000 pounds of food.
• Each day, about 30 St. Louis Park families visit STEP’s Clothes Closet to have their clothing needs met.
• Each year, 10% of the population of St. Louis Park turns to STEP for assistance!

All donations will be distributed to St. Louis Park individuals and families
