The goal of the Waterford Senior Campus is to promote maximum independence and dignity for each of our residents in a home-like setting. In addition to our Memory Care, Assisted Living, Advanced Care Suites, Independent Senior Apartments, and Townhome housing rental options, we offer supportive services that include physical needs along with social and spiritual well-being.

Our beautiful, spacious townhomes feature fireplaces, patios, washer and dryers as well as attached garages. Maintenance-free living encourages townhome tenants, like our independent and assisted residents, to have the freedom to enjoy on-site amenities such as outdoor walking paths, ponds and gardens, social programs, beauty shop, ice cream parlor, and our famous Ida Marie restaurant.

The Waterford Manor Senior Campus encompasses our Memory Care, Assisted Living, Advanced Care Suites, and Townhomes.

Please contact Krystal Wiebusch, housing specialist, at 763.536.7662 or wmreps@lanel.com to schedule a tour of any one of our fabulous living options.

Lang Nelson Good Samaritans

I AM AN EYE WITNESS TO THE SELFLESSNESS OF LANG NELSON EMPLOYEES. In August, Lang Nelson gave all their employees a gift of a day on a St. Croix paddle boat complete with huge lunch, casino games, entertainment, and door prizes. It was an absolutely beautiful day paddling down the St. Croix. Returning on the shuttle bus, our Lang Nelson van got off Interstate 694 at the ramp for Hwy 81. The traffic on the ramp was stopped. We passengers gawked at the traffic jam, wondering what had caused this, not on the road, but on the ramp. It was determined that someone’s car had stalled and was blocking the turn lanes. Within 2 seconds, somebody said “let’s help push the car off to the side of the road”, and four (4) guys jumped up and off the bus to assist. Just then, the car started and no assistance was needed, but I was so impressed with my fellow Lang Nelson employees. If I had been the driver of that car, I’d have been so grateful for people helping me. And I am grateful for the Lang Nelson employees who jump up to help strangers on the road like true Good Samaritans.

Residents of The Pines may not have felt up to bustling with the crowds at The Minnesota State Fair this year, but they had a taste of the fair at The Pines State Fair Picnic.  Food included hot dogs, chicken on a stick, cheese curds, bags of fried donuts and cotton candy. Fruit and corn salad was provided to offer lighter options.  Activities that afternoon included fair games and entertainment that evening celebrated the fair and other summer adventures.  No heat, no crowds, no mosquitoes and lots of fun!  A great time was had by all!

The Pines is open to the public every Wednesday from 3 to 6 PM as Jim Bush Floral Designers bring buckets of flowers bouquets for purchase by residents and neighbors.  Free cookies and coffee are a part of the festivities.  We hope to see you then!  For an immediate need, please call 612-861-3331 for a tour. We would love to share this special place which is home for many of the great seniors of Richfield.
