A story that warms your heart

One day, Meridian Manor’s Maintenance Director and Ceal was talking about Ceal’s name and songs with her name in it. So the next day he brought in his IPOD and played the song ‘Celia- your breaking my heart’ song in Harmony Hall right before social hour. It just brightened her day when she heard it. It is just another way of how Meridian Manor staff goes out of their way for residents to put laughter into their day.

The Pines staff celebrated Pete Vestol’s 100th Birthday! 

Pete Vestol, a long-time resident of Richfield, turned100 years old on August 22^nd.  In 1954 he and his wife Agnes purchased a home at 7112 Stevens Avenue South.  He lived there for 55 years and is currently enjoying life at The Pines.  You may know Pete from his 29 years at St. Peter’s Church as an usher, or possibly you knew him at Northwest Airlines where he worked from 1942 to 1970.  Any way you know him, it’s a pleasure to get Pearls of Wisdom from Pete! 

A private celebration was held and the Pines staff hosted a big party for him in the next evening!
