 Classic Arts Programming: The Rivers Campus in Burnsville launched its new Classical Arts Program, with a production of “What Child is This”.  The program was produced by Glenda Maurice.  Glenda has prepared an extensive Classical Arts  program for The Rivers.  Please contact the Rivers Campus for additional upcoming events throughout 2010.  

Glenda Maurice has had an international career as  a classical singer and teacher of singing.  She has performed with major orchestras and conductors, in such venues as Carnegie Hall, Kennedy CenterAlice Tully Hall, Wigmore Hall in London, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Ordway, and Orchestra Hal as a featured soloist.  She has eight internationally distributed CD’s and has sung world  premieres of 5 major works. She had a 43 year career as a university professor, with numerous students of hers are performing in major venues such as the Metropolitan Opera, and many more are populating university faculties.  She retired last May from 21 years at University of Minnesota School of Music. Glenda now joins The Rivers as a resident and as Classical Arts Activities Associate.
